1967 Pontiac Firebird Cameo Ivory / Red 326 V8 - Automatic PS & PB PHS Documents
South Jersey Classic is proud to present this 1967 Pontiac Firebird HO Tribute. The Firebird and Camaro launched the same year and were an instant hit. They were applauded and offered a nice alternative to the Ford Mustang- which had a 3 year head start in the Pony-Car market. And although Firebird and Camaro shared the same F body platform, Pontiac managed throughout the year to offer a very distinctive look over it's GM competitor. Firebirds differ from big brother Lemans & GTO A bodies mainly due to having a partial frame only under the front, and subframe & leaf springs in the rear. As a result, they are lighter... which made them winners at the dragstrips and with gearheads on the street. They also made eye-catching daily drivers. This particular Firebird has its original 326 V8, paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Finished with its factory color of Cameo Ivory, and Red vinyl seats. The intake was converted to 4brrl along with the carb and HO stripe was added. See photos for condition.
