This new style of Corvette is a game changer for GM and the Industry as a whole, you can now get into Ferrari and Lamborghini levels for a fraction of the price. Behind the 2 GT2 Corvette Seats is a growling 6.2L V8 that is still waiting to unlock its full potential, for the first 500 miles all C8 Corvettes are limited to 4,000 rpm to allow the engine to break in, after 500 miles the limiting is erased and the 6.2L V8 can rev up to its full power and potential at 6,600 rpm. Behind the 6.2L V8 is a 8-Speed Dual Clutch Automatic Transmission, Dual Clutch is a first for Corvette. The new Dual Clutch Transmission has two clutches inside which allow it to grab the next gear before it releases the current gear that it is in. The result is no power loss between the lighting fast shifting allowing this vette to reach 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. The driver can choose to control this beast via the paddle shifters located behind the steering wheel or they can allow for the vette to do the shifting. Also for more customizations, ride/handling control, and different shifting behavior the driver can pick between 5 different modes. The modes include a tour mode for normal around town driving, weather mode for slippery surfaces, sport mode for spirited driving, track mode which is for maximum performance driving, and a customizable z-mode which allows the driver to create a custom mode for however you'd like. This Corvette is loaded with options including the Z51 performance package which adds the following options performance axle ratio, high performance tires, Z51 rear spoiler, Electronic Limited Slip Differential, Z51 Performance Suspension, Z51 Performance Brakes, Performance Exhaust.
