Description

Vehicle Specs

Built to deliver serious big-block performance with classic Chevelle styling, this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport Tribute is a well-sorted street machine that combines strong mechanical components with a driver-focused setup. Carrying a 136 VIN, this car has been tastefully built into an SS-style performer while maintaining its original Bolero Red exterior and black interior color combination, giving it the right look to match its performance.

At the heart of the car is a professionally built 427 V8, estimated at 425 horsepower and backed by receipts. This engine has been carefully assembled with performance and reliability in mind, featuring a balanced and blueprinted 2-bolt block, TRW forged pistons, GM 3/8 dimple rods with SPS bolts, Speed Pro file-fit rings, and an Eagle steel crank. Additional components include a Speed Pro oiling system, roller timing chain, and a Crane solid lifter camshaft with .544/.567 lift and 304/314 duration. The valvetrain is supported by Crane lifters, retainers, and Manley heavy-duty stainless valves, all working with GM high-performance square port closed chamber heads (#3964291). With compression in the 9.6–9.8 range, the engine is built to run on pump gas while still delivering strong performance.

Fuel and ignition systems have been upgraded with both Carter mechanical and electric fuel pumps, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, MSD distributor, coil, and 6AL box, along with Taylor Pro wires. Ceramic-coated headers feed into a Dynamax exhaust system, giving the car an aggressive yet refined sound that matches its performance capabilities.

Power is transferred through a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission rebuilt by Precision Transmission and paired with a new Centerforce clutch and Hurst shifter, delivering a crisp and engaging driving experience. Out back, a 12-bolt posi rear with 3.73 gears ensures strong acceleration and traction. The car has also been upgraded with new fast ratio power steering and a four-wheel power disc brake conversion, greatly improving drivability and stopping confidence.

The suspension setup includes Bilstein shocks and a rear sway bar, helping the car maintain composure while still delivering that classic muscle car feel. Energy Suspension motor mounts and a Be Cool aluminum radiator further enhance reliability and performance, making this a car that can be driven and enjoyed.

Inside, the black interior features bucket seats with a center console and a working console clock, along with a Grant steering wheel that adds to the driver-focused feel. The cabin retains a clean, classic appearance while supporting the car's performance-oriented nature.

Finished in factory Bolero Red, the exterior presents well as a driver-quality car with minor imperfections noted in the photos. It has the right stance, sound, and presence to back up its performance, making it a car that turns heads and delivers an exciting driving experience.

This Chevelle is exactly what a street-driven big-block muscle car should be—powerful, well built, and ready to enjoy. A real street car with serious power that lives up to its reputation every time you get behind the wheel.
